You have to enlarge the wiper arm post holes and use YJ wiper arm/blades and the YJ wiper arm linkage. The CJ motor is still used.I have the non HO 4.7 and about a month back I started getting a really bad knock at the top of my revs or if I let off the gas during an acceleration. I checked my oil and I was 4 quarts down!! When I drained it, it was black. Re-wired my alternator to be a one wire but can seem to charge below 2000rpm. This is what I have done. Connected red wire to red wire going to starter solenoid on battery positive side. I have a 1981 CJ7 that has manual brakes. It's a typical setup with disc up front and drums in the rear. I have the AMC20 in the back and a Dana something up front (Not quite sure ). Install one sleeve around injector # 3, with the slit on the upward facing side of the injector. Install the other sleeve with the slit on the downward facing side of the injector. 3. Just did this yesterday on my 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9L because my reverse lights weren't working. The 3 wire plug comes off easily if you find the tab, depress it with a screwdriver and gently lever the plug off.
