Anguilla is overwhelmingly the better of the two locations but it's fun to explore new places and try new things. We stayed in SXM for the last days of our vacation and I don't regret it. The French side is 220V so I would be very surprised if any 120V appliances worked there, but would be fun to watch the flames. Computers and chargers are very happy to just have the small cheap adapters these days.Update: the transit yesterday in SXM went smoothly. Jet bridges are still not functional, so we were bussed from our plane to the terminal. As we were headed to St. Barth, the rep from St. Barth Commuter was waiting just inside the terminal before immigration. We were directed to go through the transit lines where we obtained our onward ...It has big condo buildings yet feels empty and struggling. Mainly, I guess, the beach is not great so no one visits from elsewhere and most people staying there head out each day. To be fair, the beach might rate a 6 or 7, but St Martin has so many 10 point beaches of different flavors that it suffers by comparison.
